Followings are samples of different types of malocclusions. Some malocclusion can be a combination of several types.  A photo is attached to best describe each malocclusion.

CROWDING OR CROOKED TEETH

Treatment for this condition depends on the degree of crowding. If the crowding is minor, the malocclusion sometime can be corrected non-extraction with removable spring retainers, clear aligners (Invisalign) or braces. Braces usually are faster since they provide continuous force. For moderate and severe crowding it may need to remove several teeth in order to align all remaining teeth with braces.
